Photoshop CS3 and InDesign CS3 preview I was lucky enough to grab an early seat at the Apple Store here in San Francisco to watch the Adobe Photoshop and InDesign CS3 sneak peak given by John Nack and Chad Siegel from Adobe. Below are some random notes and photos are coming soon! (sorry in advance for the quality). Before anything got started, John said that speedwise, Photoshop ran ... Feature Request

January 12th, 2007
As a matte painter I have been called upon to paint many a night time or dark scene, Helms Deep sequence for Lord of the Rings for example and what I need on those jobs is the ability to control the brightness of the interface and all palettes. G5 Quad speed

George,

You're correct. Buffering is disabled in the public beta, and Bigger Tiles just missed the cut. It'll be in the shipping version, and I'm curious what your results would look like for CS3 with the plug-in enabled. Would the CS3 results be even faster for these tests? If you're interested in running some tests for me, please email me at ajerugim @ adobe dot com.

“If Adobe had done nothing more than release a Universal CS2, many users would probably be happy,” said Ben referring to the speed gain of CS3, adding, “Within a few days of playing with the new features, though, you’ll ... Read entire article

The Links column in the Layers panel disappeared in CS2 and CS3 behaviour is
the same as CS3 from what I can see so far.

The Link Layers button in the Layers panel won't become active until you
highlight 2 or more layers.
