Just on the heels of releasing the March 27 “launch” date for CS3, Adobe announced yesterday that there will be two versions of Photoshop: Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended.
The Extended version adds on capabilities for working with 3D content and image analysis, hoping to appeal to professionals in motion imagery, architecture, manufacturing, science, and medicine. Pricing will likely be announced at their launch in New York City on March 27, 2007.

Adobe recently released Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and has developed an online video editing tool called Remix. In addition to the upcoming CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, GoLive, etc.), plus the much-anticipated future of DreamWeaver and Flash, Adobe also plans to unveil Apollo, a Web-based application development tool, possibly available to developers this June or July.

PMA 2007: Adobe has today outlined its plans to offer two versions of Photoshop CS3 when it is released later this year.
