Using XML Data with the Spry Framework for Ajax in Dreamweaver CS3

June 12th, 2007
Regardless of what you may specifically think of the CS3 iteration of the venerable Dreamweaver visual Web editor, even the most hardened skeptics would probably be forced to (grudgingly) agree that the integration of Adobe's Spry framework for Ajax into Dreamweaver CS3 is, to put it very technically, pretty freaking cool. June 12th, 2007

Opening JPEGs and TIFFs in Camera Raw

June 12th, 2007

There’s been some confusion surrounding how to make images open (and not open) in the Adobe Camera Raw dialog box from either Bridge or Photoshop.

We’re used to opening raw images (i.e.- .DNG, .NEF, .CRW, etc.) using the Adobe Camera Raw dialog box. Photoshop CS3 also has the ability to run JPEGs(.jpg) and TIFFs(.tif or .tiff) through the Raw Converter. One advantage to this is that your original JPEGs or TIFFs can remain as unedited master files. There are, of course, other advantages to running images through the Raw Converter. (To be covered later.)

What is it???

Well, to me one of the areas that After Effects needs to grow in is the area ...
