As it turns out, there are quite a few issues being addressed by Adobe Systems, Inc. with the release of the latest Mac OS X v10.5, a.k.a. Leopard.

The company has posted a compatibility statement on the matter and the 6-page, 120KB PDF may be downloaded from their site.

In effect, the statement says most Adobe applications work like a dream under Leopard but there are some itty-bitty issues with a few of them. It is to be expected with every new release of any operating system.

Upon confirming that my vital applications (Web browsers, Mail, Adobe CS3 and Transmit) work perfectly fine under Apple’s latest version of OSX (Leopard), I quickly moved on to see what other applications on my MacPro were working, working with problems or flat-out busted. Having spent my weekend with Leopard and Adobe CS3, I can put your mind at ease by saying that if you were waiting to upgrade, you don’t have to.Leopard and Adobe’s Creative Suite applications appear to work perfectly together. In fact, they work even better than they did with Tiger. Speed is the only thing I noticed after the upgrade. A lot more of it. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Distiller and Dreamweaver all launched much faster than they did under Tiger.
